Actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban did not cruise on Octopus either ICE but on one of the hugest private yacht in the world the Rising Sun that belongs to founder of ORACLE, Larry Ellison. They spent 4 days in Bora Bora then took the private jet for back home.

The Rising Sun luxury yacht was so huge (5 biggest yacht in the world) that when I saw it in the habor, I didn't notice it was a private yacht but a Cruise ship like you daily see with thousand of tourits abord. So I won't say private yacht but private cruise ship.

So let say that in the same week we have 3 luxury yachts that belongs to 3 of the top fortune in the world at the same place. Do they kno each other? if yes, Wow they must have some great discussions about business (Oracle + Microsoft) Finance (Russian business man) and entertainment (Nicole Kidman and Urban Keith)

Tahiti, Bora bora is the hottest spot for celebs and top fortune meetings.

I understand why, because the most nicest parts in the world have too many paparazzi for people magazine and they hate these, specially when they are in vacation. So Tahiti, Bora Bora are still without paparazzi.

It's the second time that actress Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are back to Tahiti. They arrived friday with Air Tahiti Nui Flight 012 from Australia.
According to some rumors, she is pregnant (6 months) and they have schedule to make a private cruise on a luxury yacht.

There is only 2 luxury yachts in the Papeete Habor. Is their cruise on the Octopus or ICE? I can't tell you more.

You probably might be interested in knowing the secret honeymoon destination of the celebrity couple! Movie, Basket Ball, Musicians... all stars like NICOLE KIDMAN and KEITH URBAN landed in Tahiti to begin their honeymoon, Urban was seen escorting his new bride down the steps of the jet in Papeete, Tahiti after waiting on the plane while local customs officials picked up and then re-delivered their passports.
At the tiny Bora Bora air strip they were then met by a crew of staff from the resort, who helped them avoid a team of local press and then escorted the couple on a short boat ride to the resort.
An airport official says, "Resort staff were all around them when they came through here." Kidman and Urban are among the first guests of the Royal Estate over-water bungalow in the resort, which just opened a few weeks ago, the newlyweds are staying in the luxury $15,000 (£8,000) a night US Royal Estate at the new St Regis resort in Bora Bora. The luxurious resort has only a few weeks ago opened the over-water bungalow in the resort which boasts of a 24-hour butler service, an in-room Jacuzzi and a room with a private swimming pool. The luxury resort also features 100 exquisitely designed guest rooms, one-, two- and three-bedroom villas that range in size from 1,550 square feet to the resort’s ultra-luxurious 13,000-square foot Royal Estate, spa on its own private lagoon island, delectable restaurants and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The high-profile guests have sent the resort into high-security mode, with staff on jet skis regularly patrolling the perimeter of the resort to discourage paparazzi.

Actress Longoria (seen in the movie The Sentinel) and NBA Basket Ball Player Tony Parker arrived just minutes after Kidman private jet by a regular commercial flight.

Kidman and Urban have been spending much of their time tucked away in their bungalow, which is equipped with a jacuzzi and private pool.

Meanwhile, Longoria and Parker have been seen regularly cruising around the island in one of the golf carts that guests at the resort use as transportation.

Kidman and Urban are expected to stay in Bora Bora until the weekend, before returning to their home to Nashville, Tennessee.

Octopus cost Allen over US$200 million and has Permanent crew of 60, including several former Navy Seals.It has two helicopters, seven boats, a basket ball field, a swimming pool, a 10 man submarine and a remote controlled vehicle for crawling on the Ocean floor. The Traditional Tahitian food is named "Ma'a Tahiti" as you see on this picture, "Fei" kind of banana, "Taro" kind of potato, "Uru", "Poe"... all are eaten with coconut milk. But the real "Ma'a Tahiti is not sold on the market but cook in a traditional way underneath of the ground with heated rocks and covered by banana leaves. And the roasted pig is cook that way too. Many hotels restaurants offers the Ma'a Tahiti on Sunday afternoon.

Papeete market is the perfect place to find all kind of fresh lagoon fishes, you can also find pieces of tuna famous here for making "raw fish" meal. Slice some pieces of tuna (like japanese sashimi), add tahiti green lemon juice, onion, salt, salad , tomatoes and mix it all then add a little of coconut milk. Delicious.

Today I went to the Radisson Hotel and was impressed by the architecture, it's new, open space and looks a bit like las vegas hotels with tall columns. During the visit, I really like the hotel decor. No doubt, it's a luxury hotel. The extravagance of each guessroom extends to push robes and deluxe linens, and sleek ensuite bathrooms boasting marble vanities, deep soaking tubs and Asira bath amenities, all tucked behind sliding wooden doors.
I also love the Spa, truly relax with treatments, combining black sand and volcanic stones, as well as indigenous fruit and flowers such as mango and frangipani. Great tahiti vacations for couples as they also offers steam room, sauna, fitness and yoga classes.
At the "Hiti Mahana" restaurant, you can feast on the daily changing buffets or the innovative a la carte menu in either al-fresco splendor or in air-conditioned comfort.

You can clearly see now the Helicopter without the cover and a smaller boat next to the luxury yacht "Tatoosh". So Paul Allen must be in Tahiti for his vacation. As you see on the picture, it's cloudy, yeah, actually the weather is not perfect, missing the blue sky and sun.
The 163 feet luxury yacht "Triton Bikini" is already in the Huahine bay.

Yesterday a luxury yacht was in Papeete Harbor named "Triton Bikini" with a "Eurocopter" helicopter on it. I will post some picture soon. Who is it? Well I heard that Mel Gibson have a Triton Delta boat similar to the one I've seen but I don't think it's him. So I think it's one one of Top 500 fortune as April 1st (will arrive at 7.00 local) and living April 9, the "Tatoosh" witch also have a helicopter on top of the luxury yacht will be in Tahiti. The Tatoosh belongs to Microsoft Founder Paul Allen. (see picture of the Tatoosh taken when he last came in Tahiti - Photo Copyright TahitiBlog.com). So who is the mistery owner of the "Triton Bikini"? Also reported 2 private jets arrived last night at the Airport. I suppose that Paul Allen and the owner of the Triton have a meeting and they both love diving as both yachts have the latest hi-tech diving equipment available in the world. During a press conference and according to Richard Bailey, the CEO of Tahiti Beachcomber InterContinental in Tahiti, 30 bungalows will be buit for $1 million each. The name of the hotel will be "The Brando Hotel" witch has been trademarked by the Executors of the Marlon Brando Estate : LarryDressler, Mike Medavoy and Avra Douglas will be open in 2008. All of the bungalows will be built over land to protect the environment (eco-resort), which means there will be no over-the-water bungalows. Also as the Brando Hotel targets rich travellers, all access to the island will be close to general public (no more boats), the runaway will soon be restored. Bailey's resorts employ a fulltime marine biologist and veterinarian, Dr. Cecile Gaspar, who has carried out extensive studies on Tetiaroa to ensure that such a project will not disturb the flora and fauna of this extraordinary ecosystem, which includes sea-turtle hatching grounds and the designated seabird sanctuary on Motu Tahuna Iti that provides a home to thousands of rare indigenous seabirds.

The Endeavour Replica arrived in Tahiti

This morning, I went to see one of the greatest old century sail boat replica in the world, the Endeavour Replica, I found Endeavour set up as if Captain Cook and his men have just stepped ashore. I really enjoy visit aboard (see more photos in my album)
The main differences between the original and the replica are in the timber and the metal fittings used, and in the use of man-made materials for masts, ropes and sails. Instead of the traditional Elm, Oak or Spruce, the replica was built mainly from Jarrah, a native West Australian hardwood which will ensure a long life for the ship. Old growth Oregon (Douglas Fir), especially imported from the USA, was used for the masts, spars, topsides and decks.
History in brief :
In 1768 Lieutenant James Cook, RN, set sail in Endeavour on a voyage of exploration and scientific investigation.
The original H M Bark Endeavour was a three masted collier bark, or coal carrier named The Earl of Pembroke. Such vessels were the 18th century equivalents of bulk carriers and were built very solidly with flat bottoms, large holds and thick hulls. H M Bark Endeavour therefore was easily converted to accommodate a scientific expedition. She was a slow but sturdy vessel which was seakindly and safe even in rough weather. She was 110 ft long, 30 ft on the beam and displaced about 550 tons.

In The Middle Of A Luxurious Tropical Garden, With A View Over Moorea And The Lagoon, This Hotel Is Located 10 Min From The Town Centre And 5 Min From The Airport. 216 Rooms And 2 Suites.local And International Cuisine.- The famous Japanese Restaurant "Le Sakura" is a great place to see the chief slicing meats and cook in front of dinner - Moorea- Poolside Bar. 3 Meeting Rooms For Up To 500 People. The Sofitel Maeva Beach is also the closest hotel to the big shopping mall "Carrefour" and the "Marina Taina" where are private yatchs. I've been there before and it hasn't been renewed since long time so it looks like a classic hotel and the sea is not really clean around this area meanwhile it's great to take a sun bath on the beach or at the swimming pool.

The Inter Continental Resort Tahiti, formerly Hotel Beachcomber. It is located on the beachside. There is 30 acres (12 hectares) of tropical gardens, just in front of Tahiti's sister Island, Moorea. The Airport is over a mile from the hotel and Downtown Papeete, is about six miles (10 km) down the road. I've been there many times each year for the famous 'Soirees Merveilleuses ". It's a wonderful Polynesian danse show "Tamure" that is available every friday night and where you have a generous buffet meal of sea food, International and of course French cuisines. The swimming pool including a small artificial waterfall is one of the largest in Tahiti island.

I went more than 5 times at the Le Meridien Tahiti restaurant "Le carre" for lunch and it was delicious, "French Cuisine", the swimming pool has a nice natural shape and bottom is covered by sand. The Beach Front is one of the greatest white sand beach but sometimes the sea is a little bit polluted in this area otherwise I love to swim there. I will also recommand the PK. 17 (less than 5 min away by car) public beach.
